Basophil zero is no issue..for chronic  worse cough,we need to see other para meters.. Send complete lab report.. Incase of any issue u can consult

It only means that the basophil count is so low that pathologist couldn't find any basophil in the microscopy field or the cell counter also couldn't find any basophil in the sample. It is completely normal.
