A small red bump on the eyelid
I had a chalazion about 3 months back, it had almost gone with continuous hot fomentation with just a miniscule unnoticable bump remaining . Now I notice a small red bump at the same place which is not painful at all.
Last time when I had a chalazion I had generalized swelling with mild pain which then reduced down to form a painless chalazion bump. This time I just have a localized bump at the very same place but with no pain absolutely. What could this bump be?

This bump at the site of your previous chalazion is likely a recurrence or a residual chalazion
As it’s not painful and there’s no surrounding swelling, it’s usually harmless. The bump may persist or reappear if the meibomian gland remains blocked, but it often improves gradually with regular warm compresses.
