8 days newborn not passing stool

My baby is 8 days old from past 2 days she has not passed stool however she is taking frequent breast milk and formula milk also urinating 5-6 times a day. Please confirm how long can i wait for her to poop and what is the normal frequency for new borns to poop?

1.Abdomen  should be soft 2. The stools should not be hard 3. Baby should  be feeding well and passing urine 5-6 times 4.check whether you are having any thyroid  issues. 5. Consult  a pediatrician if there's  any issue

It’s normal for a new born to pass once in 7 days also . If baby is passing gas no problem . Give breast feeding evry 2 nd hrly
