My wife is 6 weeks pregnant, however during the sonography test, no heart beat was detected. Wanted to check if this is something to worry about? We have been adviced to take another sonography test on 8th week of pregnancy. Will this be a successful pregnancy?

Do follow up ultrasound after 10-15 days Delayed conception can occur so heart beats could be delayed Usually heart beats appear between 6-7 weeks so it could be bit early ultrasound Do not worry

Heart beat is usually detected at 7 weeks of gestation. Get a repeat scan done for confirmation. It would be difficult to predict whether it would be a successful pregnancy or not
