Hi doctor, my baby 1.5 year old, having 5 mm gallbladder calculus. This can dissolve on its own? If yes how much time will it take? If no then what is the solution except surgery? Could you pls suggest me. I am really worried.

Are there any symptoms like abdominal pain, vomiting or jaundice? If not, nothing is to be done. It might resolve on its own. If the symptoms are present the child may require symptomatic treatment (syp udiliv)

Hi...just followup ultrasound scans every 6months. Anything more than 8-10 mm needs urgent pediatric surgeon involvement

No need of surgery As the size is very small Usually small size will dissolve by itself If no symptoms like abdominal pains , vomiting then Wait for 5months and repeat the scan to check Don't forget to like the answer as soon as you read
