Hello Doctor My kid 2year 5months old, weight-12.8kgs and height: 90cms. Problem is he is doing potty after every meal(3-4 times) a day. Is it normal? He takes normal food and fruits only. Pls advise.

It is due to gastrocolic reflex which is normal.Weight and height are normal.

The weight and height of kid is normal.Some kids have this gastrocolic reflex that when their stomach is getting food immediately the intestines are stimulated and they poop.They normally outgrow this by 3-4 years. Food and fruits are good. Just don't give too much added sugar or sugary juices as these can also cause child to poop more often
