20 week anomaly scan

Hi I'm into 19 weeks 5 days pregnancy. Anomaly scan shows " Mild hydronephrosis and intracardiac echogenic focus" and risk estimate is 1:2126 Is it normal? Have done NT SCAN and double marker earlier reports are normal ..risk is trisomy 21 -1:62601 Trisomy 18 -1:164492 Suggested to do NIPT

Yes you should go for nipt to further rule out chromosomal abnormality . Though hydronephrosis and evhogenic foci are soft markers . But nipt is recommended for better reassurance Nipt is not necessary but advisable . And also go for fetal cardiac echo if not planning on nopt

Mild hydronephrosis and intracardiac echogenic focus are common soft markers seen in many normal pregnancies. The risk estimate of 1:2126 is considered low risk. NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing) is suggested for further reassurance, especially with soft markers.
