2.5 year baby fever not come down.

My bay is 2.5 year old & he had a fever from last night. We are feeding fepnil250mg,3 ml every 4 hrs,but still temperature not coming below 100F.His head & body feels hot but not feet & hand.so is it viral fever? & what should we do? Max temperture was 102.5F.

Continue medication Tepid sponging Maintain hydration Watch for vitals(urine output/urine color/blood in stool/fever/activity)....if deterioration present do follow u p *General danger sign* (the child is not able to drink . the child vomits everything .the child has had convulsions .the child is lethargic or unconscious). Most children with a general danger sign need URGENT referral to hospital/physical meet with pediatrician for review.
