My son is having diarrhea now since a month. He is 15 months old. He has come up with an anal rash as well. Doc gave him lactic acid and zinc for about a week and during 2nd visit to doct after one week, his poop quantity got reduced but the frequency was almost same... no more watery stools so doc asked us to stop lactic acid and continue zinc for another 1 week. Then his poops were pallete like for 2 days.. and now again normal poops not watery. He is on mother-feed as well. Doc asked to stop milk, curd, tea and biscuits for the mother and baby as he might have become lactose intolerant. He now asks for more and more mother feed , earlier which was only 2 times-one at night before sleep and another early morning. P.S. - 2 weeks prior to this prob, we gave him cow's milk, otherwise he was given full cream milk after he was 12 mons old, before that he was given toned milk. He stopped taking milk from bottle and didn't take it for about 10 days. Need advice.
