14 days old boy and Bilirubin is 12.5

14 days old boy. According to lab test report Bilirubin level is 12.5mg/dl. Is there any medication required or sunlight is enough and any point of concern?

At 14 day it's high bilirubin: need phototherapy and some investigation.kindly consultation near by pediatricians

Dehydration is a common reason for jaundice. Try to encourage more breastfeeding. Child should pass urine 6 to 8 times in a day.  If that is not happening, then it is the reason for jaundice. Also get a thyroid profile done as 14 days jaundice is called prolonged jaundice. Sun therapy, Direct in the morning for 30 min if possible Indirect (coming through windows or door) can be given throughout the day
