Alkaline Phosphate high
My alkaline phosphatase report shows as 129 I heard that in womens it should be between 40-92 . My TSH has reduced from 13 to 0.40. My CRP shows more than 3.3 . What all this means? I had chickenpox in December.Can Chicken Pox be the reason for such elevated levels of alkaline phosphatase & crp ?

Hello there....., Alkaline phosphatase is an important enzyme mainly derived from the liver, bones and in lesser amounts from intestines, placenta, kidneys and leukocytes. An increase in ALP levels in the serum is frequently associated with a variety of diseases.....c reactive protein is a measure of inflammation in the body...Kindly consult your physician for further evaluation....
