My brother is a procurement engineer.he is getting addicted to alcohol.now a days he used to come home being drunken. Due to his this bad habit his professional and social life getting impacted. He is not in mood to discuss with us regarding any matter. So please suggest us what we shall do.

Thanks for taking the opinion . Just dont tell him to stop the alcohol Immediately . It needs detail counselling as what causes him to drink daily first . How did he get addicted to it . Yes I understand he is not willing to speak . We need to get the confidence from him That we / family members wont judge him for drinking . Than he can can start sharing what is his feeling and what makes him to drink alcohol . Pls dont force or go in rush to stop alcohol as it may harm him more . If any help Psychiatrist would be the person to help in a better way .
