Air line fracture
2days back meet with small accident and got a small line fracture on left knee my doctor says to go for plaster of Paris and bed rest of 40 days , is that necessary to go for that!? I think it's small injury and more I have exams in next few days so please help me out ....

fracture always requires reduction and immobilization ,since it is undisplaced fracture plaster of Paris is enough, it is better to have it to avoid further complications
