Hi Doctor,
I think i am pregnant, i did a preganancy test using the pregnancy kit it turned out to be positive Can I rely on that ?Can you guide me through what do I need to do next for conceiving ? Like getting ultrasound first or consulting a gynac first ?

Urine Pregnancy Test or UPT is most accurate when the first drop of urine in the morning, since the UPT is positive you should meet a OBGYN who will evaluate you and you will be sent for your 1st dating ultrasound scan so as to evaluate the weeks of pregnancy and expected date of confinement. You can also do a beta HCG test to confirm the UPT test results as it is more accurate and specific. You will require supplements which will be prescribed to you by your OBGYN and further blood investigations will be done to asses the pregnancy and to rule out any risk factor.
