Acute pain & constipation
My mother had undergone a Lumbar hernia surgery on 1st April. Now as per the doctors the wound has healed. However now for last 3 days she has Acute Constipation. Also she has an acute pain. Urine Routine test showed bacterial infection of 3484.2 micro /lt. Urine culture report is Awaited. As per doctor advice, "Push 2 dulcolax suppositories through rectum". Can someone please advise how to use these suppositories and push them in the Rectum ? How to push & by how much ?

Stool softeners moisten the stool by drawing water from the intestines.... Lubricants enable stool to move through your colon more easily..... For urinary tract infection she should Drink plenty of water. Water helps to dilute urine and flush out bacteria..... Avoid coffee, alcohol, and soft drinks containing citrus juices or caffeine until infection has cleared. They can irritate bladder and tend to aggravate....
