ACOUSTIC NEUROMA
My wife has problem of Large acoustic neuroma with hydrocephalus According to MRI size is 43×42×38mm Dr has advised to do operation....my question is what are the complications after surgery and Operation will be successful or not.......................

Large acoustic neuroma will require surgery definitely. Without surgery due to hydrocephalus there will be a problem of cerebral compression leading to death. Although surgery has some complications , but risk to benefits should be weighed.
