Dr. M.M. Sathyaseelan is a Psychiatrist based in Coimbatore. He completed his MD in Psychiatry from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, graduating with the Dr. Kuruvilla Award and the Gold Medal for the best postgraduate in the department. He completed his MBBS from VMKV Medical College, Salem, with four distinctions and two university awards of proficiency, and trained at the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER).Beyond his academic qualifications, Dr. Sathyaseelan holds specialised certifications that most psychiatrists in Coimbatore do not. He is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the Beck Institute, USA, Motivational Interviewing from NIMHANS, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
