K Thomas Jefferson is a specialist in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy and the only Chartered Physiotherapist (UK) in Coimbatore. He is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (UK). With 20 years of experience, he has expertise treating joint pains without medicines. He has undergone Level I training by Dr. Jean Claude De Mauroy, President, European Spine Center, France in Lyon Method for scoliosis. He has completed Diploma in Football Medicine, a course by FIFA, Switzerland, " Advanced Manual Therapy training for Post Surgical Breast Cancer Patients", under Ms. Susan Chapelle, Canada and provides physiotherapy to reduce arm swelling after breast cancer surgery. He was selected and completed a special online course from the University of Oxford, UK to treat painful Hand and Fingers of Rheumatoid Arthritis patients. He is the only certified physiotherapist in Coimbatore having Level 1 and Level 2 certifications to provide online physiotherapy by Physitrack -UK. He has completed an online course on Paediatric Assessment: Developmental and Musculoskeletal Case Studies for Physiotherapists from the New Castle University, U K and the course Introduction to Ageing for Innovators from the same university. He provides physiotherapy for patients with shoulder Pain, Neck and Low Back Pain, Knee Pain, Sports Injuries, work-related musculoskeletal disorders, arthritis and all joint pains. With modern infrastructure, he provides post-operative physiotherapy, theraband training, balance training, swiss ball exercise training, foam roller, postural correction, finger training with imported equipment besides others. His physiotherapy center is fully equipped with all modern equipment like ultrasound, TENS, IFT, Russian Currents, DIadynamic Current therapy, Shortwave Diathermy and others.He doesn't prescribe medicines but refers the needed patients to the concerned specialist whenever needed. He is doing online physiotherapy for patients who cannot travel to his physiotherapy center.
