The first pediatrist for my daughter while in chennai. He is very simple, patience, practical in approach in the way of his treatments. ******* ********* * ***** ********** *** *** ***** ******* **** ************* * he keep with medical updates which he shares with patients too.Very much important no unnecessary tests & experiments. In nutshell a Doctor with trustworthy. Missing you Doctor (@ Chennai).

*** **** ************* * **** *** * He takes time to analyse and doesn't prescribe unnecessary medicines if not at all required. Very detail oriented . Explains very clearly about the problem. Found that he's no more or rarely (once a month) practising in Apollo Cradle which we used to go.

The best doctor I have ever met. He is easily approachable and punctual. Politely listens to the problem and provides excellent diagnosis, friendly. He gives more hope and never panic us. He never asks for unwanted tests nor prescribe unwanted medicine. What else a good doctor should have other than this?

My hope to live came back. For morethan 5 months, me n my child were in quarantine bcos of her persistent fits. I left my hope more days ago.

But from last month she is showing some improvement bcos Dr. Velmurugan's suggestions n treatment. Today, after seeing him personally, my hope on God came back. He was so much friendly n listened every word of me.

Doctor was very friendly and highly motivating.He is very patient in listening all our issues.really felt light hearted after visiting doctor..visit to the hospital helps me in gaining more confident that my child will be able to overcome all the difficulties what she is facing now..I strongly recommend Dr.S.Velmurugan sir to parents who have children with developmental issues.

Dr Velmurugan is a down to earth person. I brought my son for his chages in sleeping pattern. Dr spoke very calm and positively towards my son. My son said that he was very comfortable in communicating with the Dr. The Dr explained the symptoms and the remedy very clearly and patiently. Keep up the good work Dr Velmurugan.

A doctor who is more knowledgeable, practical, and no nonsense unlike any other doctors of today who would ask you to get many tests, trial medications. He is upfront, very patient enough and honest with his advice, treatments. He doesn't hesitate to tell you that there is an other doctor who is well known for your type of issues, that which is rare a quality in today's world. I personally have seen him helping the parents (economically poor) of a child far beyond his limits, hats off.

I met Dr Velmurugan and he recommended I see an occupational therapist for my son. I paid his fees (Rs 750) and so far the experience was good. After that I met the occupational therapist. After the consultation with the occupational therapist, I was charged Rs 1000 which wasnt disclosed earlier and was much higher than the fees I had paid Dr Velmurugan. No assessment report was provided and though it was 5 pm on Saturday, I was told the receptionist had left and she would take print-out and keep it ready for me. A week later when i followed up, i am told i have to speak to the manager if i want the report and have to pay extra and shared a number. The fees are not transparent and isnt a patient entitled to have her own report after paying for consultation? Unfair and opaque clinic

Doctor patiently heard all I had to convey about my four year old son. He was friendly and gave more examples on how to handle my son and the situation. waiting for the duration he asked me to follow certain things for my son. Thank you doctor!
