Dr. David V. Rajan

I am 32 year old and had knee pain since last 4 years, there are 2 doctors suggested me knee ACL surgery. I visited Dr. Rajan for the opinion, he checked my leg and read the previous MRI report, He examined my leg and found that MRI report has some discrepancy . He again asked me to go for MRI in his hospital and then in this MRI report, everything came normal. He said there are problems in muscles that are above the knees. He suggested to go for Physio in his hospital and in just 5 days all my pain has gone and 4 years of suffering ended.

Got an appointment at 4.00 P.M. and was able to meet the doctor within 20 minutes. His examination was slow and thorough and spent some time talking to the patient. After having an X-ray done once again was able to see the doctor and consult with him the medication required and the line of treatment.

I suffered with swelling and pain in my left leg a for more than a month. Was not able to walk without support. Treated elsewhere but there was no improvement at all. I had a consultation with Dr. David V. Rajan at his Coonoor Clinic. He gave me a provisional diagnosis and prescribed two tablets. I bought the tablets and took one in the afternoon and one the night, I had 50% relief the next day morning. Had further follow up with Doctor after doing the blood investigations and continued treatment. Far better now, able to move around without any support and continuing his advise. I went there for a second opinion after 2 leading surgeons had suggested surgery for my PCL tear reconstruction.

Dr. David Rajan did not go by their assessment from the start. He heard out my problem, incident how it happened and my problems faced in everyday life.

He didn't ask me to get an MRI done like the 2 other surgeons had asked me to; he went by those MRIs and suggested that I take an alternative approach to healing a partial tear.

This suggestion was agreed upon by another specialist from abroad I consulted.
