Dr. Uttara Aiyer

Dr Uttara Aiyer Kohli has done her MBBS from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College Delhi in 1996 and MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Armed Forces Medical College in 2004. She is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist of repute with more than 19 years experience of working in busy hospitals of the armed forces and as a teacher in the Armed Forces Medical College. She was Professor and Post graduate teacher at the Command Hospital Bangalore before joining practice. She is adept and experienced in handling complicated & critical obstetric patients. She has special interests in High risk Obstetrics, Urogynecology, Adolescent Gynecology and Preventive oncology. She has vast experience and expertise in performing all Obstetrical and Gynecological surgeries including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries. Apart from being an experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist with good surgical skills she is an effective Postgraduate & Undergraduate teacher, an empathetic physician and an eloquent communicator. Improving and working for women’s health are her main objectives.
