she a practitioner of Integrative Medicine, with Degrees in Ayurveda and Modern Medicine, Registered under both Medical Councils, and hence am qualified legally to practice both systems of medicine in India. her efforts, quite successfully, have always been directed to bridge the gap between the two leading systems of medicine, seeing them as tools towards the making of a healthy society, rather than as opposing fronts in a war of healthcare.she have been following models from the WHO related with Integrative Medicine and wish to contribute more towards building an effective system for making Integrative Medicine widespread and established, thus easing the burden of healthcare in anyway possible.The same Individual, being well versed in dual systems will increase efficiency in clinical practice as well as research activities, by negating the need for cross consultations between professionals of the two systems, and also have an open approach towards Ideas, and have a better outlook from a wider perspective, as the methods on one system and the principles of the other are not foreign, strange or new to ones knowledge.she would also like to explore the possibility and scopes of a practitioner of Integrative Medicine in the role of a Family physician, thus being the first point of contact between the lay person and a physician.
