Dr. Mohammadarif is an trained VitreoRetina surgeon, did his Retina Fellowship from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai, followed by he worked as consultant in Retina department at Sankara Nethralaya Chennai. He has been trained to manage all kinds of medical retina conditions namely Diabetic retinopathy, diabetic maculopathy, Retinopathy of Prematurity, ARMD, Heradomacualr degenerations etc. He has been trained for retinal lasers, ultrasound, OCT, FFA techniques and interpretations. He has vast experience in surgical retina in variety of retinal disorders namely, Simple and complex Retinal detachment, Giant Retinal tear with RD , Myopic schisis, Proliferative diabetic retinopathy surgery ,Macular hole surgery, Epiretinal membrane removal , Scleral fixated IOL, Intravitreal injections of all kinds, Scleral Buckling etc. Apart from this he is able to manage all infected cases like Bacterial and Fungal Endophthalmitis, Intraocular Foreign body removal, open globe injuries repair etc.
