AK Eye Hospital was founded by Dr Amit Tarafdar, who is a pioneer in the field of Ophthalmology. He specialises in Cataract, Refractive , Glaucoma and Oculoplasty surgeries. He is representing India on various National & International forums and has been awarded with INTERNATIONAL SCHOLAR AWARD by AAO (American Academy of Ophthalmology). He is a former President of IIRSI (Indian Intraocular Implant & Refractive Society of India). He has seen the entire spectrum of advancements in the field of Ophtahlmology over the past 40 years, starting from ICCE to ECCE to Phacoemulsification. He provides comprehensive Retina management including Retina lasers and Vitrectomies. He specialises in secondary IOLs and complex cataract surgeries.
