Dr Arkendu Basu is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases at The Mission Hospital, Durgapur, with a comprehensive background in diagnosing and managing complex infections. He completed his MBBS from KPC Medical College and Hospital, Jadavpur in 2014, followed by an MD in Microbiology from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2020, where he was awarded the prestigious Dr. L. N. Mohapatra Gold Medal for Best Graduate. Further he is specialized in Infectious Diseases, earning a DM from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2024.He expertise includes managing multidrug-resistant infections, tropical diseases, HIV, tuberculosis, and fungal infections.
