Dr. Nirmal Ghati

Dr Nirmal Ghati is currently working as a consultant in the Department of Cardiology. He completed his MBBS from Medical College, Kolkata. Later he attained his MD Medicine and DM Cardiology degree from AIIMS, New Delhi – one of the premier medical institutes in India. He carries a good clinical acumen to face day-to-day challenges involved in Cardiology. He is proficient in diverse interventional cardiology procedures with newer techniques as well as various non-invasive cardiology skill sets. He is performing a high number of cardiac interventions including life-saving primary angioplasty in acute heart attacks, complex coronary interventions, pacemakers, ICD, and CRT implantations. He is using cutting-edge technologies like IVUS, OCT, FFR, Rota ablation, and IVL to optimize the results in complex coronary interventions. He is a keen researcher and has several publications in various national and international cardiology journals of repute. He believes in providing personalized care to his patients with empathy and displays utmost sincerity and dedication to his profession.
