Dr. Sachin Kulkarni is an eminent paediatric orthopaedic and trauma surgeon. He has done his graduation from K. J. Somaiya medical college and hospital. After finishing his post graduation in orthopaedic from Mumbai he went to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for his paediatric orthopaedic and spine fellowship. He worked there for more than a year with eminent paediatric orthopaedic surgeons like John Dormans- paediatric spine and tumour surgeon, Dr. Lawrence Wells- paediatric sports medicine and trauma specialist and also all other specialists to know latest techniques and modalities of management for various deformities and conditions in paediatric orthopaedic and trauma. He was also part of various research projects .After coming back to India he continued his work towards paediatric orthopaedic deformities and was working for NGOs like Narayan Seva Sansthan. He continued to work with eminent orthopaedic surgeon. He was part of many teaching courses and conferences. He has many national and international presentation and publication to his credit.His special interest is in Paediatric Trauma ,Cerebral Palsy and Congenital Deformities, Fracture Management, Joint and Muscle Problems, Joint Replacement Surgery,Joint Mobilisation and Joint Dislocation Treatment etc.

I visited Dr. Sachin Kulkarni for my 75-year-old mother who had severe knee pain and swelling. He recommended an x-ray and explained the pain was due to reduced cushioning in the joint. However, despite the prescribed medicines, her pain continued and she was unable to walk. When I called for help, the doctor asked us to visit the clinic again instead of providing medicine advice over WhatsApp, which was disappointing given the difficulty and cost of travel.

It was very nice to meet the doctor. He gave me very good treatment and I am doing it today. Even before that, I had treated my mother from him and it was successful. So I came to him again because I had a fracture. He is very good at talking to me. He gives very good suggestions and I like the doctor a lot.
