Dr. Ravi V. Shah

Dr. Ravi Shah is an orthopedic surgeon and practices at 6 different locations. He has been actively involved in the teaching programme and have conducted classes and clinics for junior nurses and staff, medical students and orthopedic post graduate students.He has also done a lot of research work in the same field, his last research was - thesis ‘Giant Cell Tumours Of Bone – Various Modalities Of Treatment’. This was a retrospective study done during the course of his post –graduate education & training at Bombay hospital institute of medical sciences, Mumbai & submitted as a dissertation to university of Mumbai for the award of master of orthopedics surgery. His ongoing research is on: case report of ‘Bilateral Asymmetrical Shoulder Dislocation In Same Individual’ and ‘Analysis Of Hand Function Following Proximal Phalanx Fractures’- a study for subsequent publication.He has won many prizes over the years like:Member of the team which successfully re-implanted surgically a severed hand, at Sir J.J. Group Of Hospital, April 1999.
