Dr. Prasanta Kumar Sahoo

Dr Prasanta Kumar Sahoo has done his post graduation in the subject of Shalakaya Tantra (Ayurvedic Ophthalmology) [M.S (Ayu)] from National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, Rajasthan.he has done his Post Graduate Diploma in Herbal Biotechnology from University of Madras, Chennai in the year 2005 and did his B.A.M.S from Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Puri in the year 2004.He has total of 13 years of experience in Ayurveda practice and 3 years of Ayurveda ophthalmology practice. He has participated and presented his research work in 2 international and 3 national conferences including WORLD AYURVEDA CONGRESS in the year 2016.To his credit there are total of 8 research publications in International journals. He is specialized in Ayurvedic management of Diabetic Retinopathy. His areas of interest are Retinitis pigmentosa, Optic atrophy, Glaucoma, ARMD, Cataract and Retinal/ Macular disorders and their Ayurvedic management.
