Dr. Naveen Kumar Naik

Naveen Kumar Naik is Retina Consultant .He has been a consultant in the department of Vitreoretina at Narayana Nethralaya since 2013.He completed his post graduation(DOMS) from Mysore Medical Mollege and went on to do his DNB and subsequently Fellowship in Vitreoretinal surgery from Aravind Eye Hospital and Postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Coimbatore.He continued as a consultant in the Vitreoretinal services in the same institute for a year. In the short time that he has been with Narayana Nethralaya he has earned the good will of his patients and the respect of his collegues through his excellent clinical skills and dynamic surgical approach.He was the first to introduce the Tucking technique of scleral fixated intraocular lens implantation technique in Bangalore.He has authored chapters on Post-traumatic endophthalmitis and Surgical management of malignant glaucoma in the recently published text book of Principles and Practice of Vitreoretinal Surgery by Jaypee publications.
