She completed her MD in Psychiatry from MAHER University, Chennai, after which she was the Consultant Psychiatrist in the District Mental Health Programme, Hassan for the Govt of Karnataka.She believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to address the bio-psycho-social factors that lead to mental illness and to achieve mindful individual and community living.
