* *** * **** *** ********** **** **** ****** *** *** ****** I live in Pune but occasionally visit Amravati, which is my native city. I had heard a lot of good things about this doctor, so I decided to visit his clinic once for my mom's treatment.
I believe he was a good gastroenterologist ******** ******** *** ** *** **** ****** ** ******** *** ***** ** ****** **** *** ****** *** *** ***** **** ** **** **** ***** ******* *** ******** *** ***** ********** ** ** ***** *** ********* *** **** ********** I strongly recommend against visiting this doctor, especially if you are from out of town, as they do not provide any support or assistance over the phone.
I took my mom to his hospital near Erwin Chowk. After an endoscopy, the doctor explained the diagnosis in just two sentences:
My mom has a few stomach ulcers, which are not serious.
Stress is the main cause, and it should be reduced.
He was a bit rude and didn’t listen to us or our concerns. After reviewing the endoscopy reports, he prescribed one month’s worth of medication, which cost around ₹3000, and asked us to return after a month. When I inquired whether it would be okay to delay the follow-up visit since we live out of town, the doctor rudely replied, ***** *** ** ******** Visit another doctor if you can’t come back."
After 3–4 days of taking the prescribed medication* ** *** *********** ******** ** *** **** *** *** ** **** ****** *** ********* Since she was out of town, I tried calling the doctor for advice, but they do not provide any suggestions or assistance over the phone. Speaking to the doctor directly was not an option, as his staff refused to connect the call. Instead, they insisted we visit the hospital to consult the doctor in person. The staff was uncooperative and rude on the phone.
With no other option, I had to find another doctor in Pune.
