Dr. Maitrayee Roy

I am a pathologist with extensive training and expertise in histopathology from AIIMS, New Delhi. My special interest and consequently most of research work and publications are in the field of oncopathology (cancer diagnosis). I have also been trained in various other super-specialties of pathology at AIIMS, namely nephropathology, gastro-hepatopathology, gynepathology and did observership in Neuropathology from NIMHANS, Bangalore. I did my MBBS from Manipal College of Medical Sciences in 2009 and completed my MD in Pathology in 2013 from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka. Post MD, I competed in the senior residency entrance examination conducted by AIIMS and worked as a senior resident for 3 years in the department of Pathology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi from July 2013 till 2016. Subsequently, I worked as a consultant histopathologist at SRL Clinical reference Lab, Gurgaon before joining my husband (also a pathologist) in managing our own diagnostic center.
