Bejai Diagnostic Centre

My elder sister (78 years) who was on a visit to my house fell down from the cot and had some pain in her left ankle. Even though she was able to walk without much difficulty, we decided to consult an Ortho. It was on 08-03-2022. On googling, we got the mobile number of this doc and talked to him and enquired whether they have x-ray machine in their clinic at Bejai.

He told "Yes". When we reached there, he told that the X-ray machine is not working, how ever, you can get it done at Balmatta. After x-raying, it was found that there was no fracture and only a haematoma . ** ****** ** ******** ******* *** ********* **** *** *** ** * ***** ** *** ********* ****** ****** *** **** ***** **** ** *** * **** ***** He went on pouring with ortho sandals, two layers of cotton bandage and one crepe bandage and a walking stick and took blood sample for many tests without asking us; all in a go, in five minutes. He prescribed only Dolo 600mg for the pain, if required. For this, he charged Rupees 5100/- and asked to come back, two days later.

On our second visit, he told us to continue with the bandage, but said that according to the blood test reports, she had a deficiency of vitamin D (count of 17) and needed immediate attention and had to be admitted to the hospital which he said, would have costed around 25,000. ** ********* ***** ******** *** **** ** **** *** *** ***** *** **** ****** ***** ****** ******* *** ****** **** *************** ** *** ***** At this, I became alert and told him that we would decide later.

After a few days, I decided to approach him, regarding his exorbitant charges, considering that he had charged double of what other labs charge for blood tests, and he had also charged 100/- extra, due to his incorrect addition. When he was confronted, he was very rude to me, and would not even refund the 100 rupees he took due to his wrong addition.
