Open Surgery:

Laparoscopic Surgery:

In Laparoscopic surgery, you will be receiving general anesthesia.

Then the surgeon will make small incisions near the hernia.
A tube that consists of a tiny camera at the end of it will be used to take images. This tube is called a laparoscope.
