Description

Glucosamine is a naturally occurring chemical found in the body. It helps our body to rebuild cartilage and replenish fluid around the joints (synovial fluid). It also helps prevent the breakdown of cartilage. This results in an improvement of the symptoms of osteoarthritis.

Close monitoring of liver enzymes and cholesterol levels is recommended during treatment with this supplement. Appropriate dose adjustments may be required based on the clinical condition.

Use in children

Glucosamine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Drowsiness

Glucosamine may cause drowsiness in rare cases. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience drowsiness during treatment with this supplement.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
