Infusion reactions

This medicine may cause infusion reactions such as a headache, fever, chills, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, breathing problems, or dizziness with the first few doses. These reactions usually diminish with subsequent doses.

Nephrotoxic medicines

This medicine should be used with caution in patients taking nephrotoxic medicines due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of renal function is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

Antineoplastics

This medicine should be used with caution in patients taking antineoplastics due to the increased risk of renal toxicity, bronchospasm, or hypotension. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

Leukocyte transfusions

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients receiving leukocyte transfusions due to the increased risk of acute pulmonary toxicity. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered based on the clinical condition.

Anaphylaxis

This medicine may cause serious anaphylactic reactions. A test dose of this medicine should be given to determine the tolerance of the patient prior to initiation of intravenous therapy. Appropriate corrective measures should be undertaken in the event of any anaphylactic reactions. Therapy may be discontinued based on the clinical condition.
