Description
Zylopred Ophthalmic Suspension is a combination of Loteprednol and Gatifloxacin. It is indicated for the treatment or prevention of postoperative eye infections caused by bacteria. Zylopred Ophthalmic Suspension works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of the bacteria and by blocking the action of substances that cause redness, pain, and swelling.
Zylopred Ophthalmic Suspension may cause side effects like eye irritation, dryness, burning, or stinging sensation. Most of these symptoms resolve with time as your body gets used to the medicine. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen.
Zylopred Ophthalmic Suspension is meant for external use only. Use this medicine as per the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Ensure that you complete the course of treatment to prevent the risk of re-infection. This medicine is not effective for the treatment of infections caused by viruses or fungi.
Zylopred Ophthalmic Suspension is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it.
