Description
Zocon T Kit Tablet is a combination of Fluconazole and Tinidazole. It is used in the treatment of vaginal infections. It prevents the growth of microorganisms and prevents the further spread of infection.
Zocon T Kit Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, unpleasant metallic taste, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or become severe.
Zocon T Kit Tablet may be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your condition. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may cause a recurrence of infection that would be difficult to treat.
Zocon T Kit Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have heart, kidney, or liver problems or any other medical conditions before taking this medicine. Inform your doctor about all of your current medicines to avoid undesired effects.

Allergic reaction

QT Interval prolonging drugs
Zocon T Kit Tablet may cause QT prolongation (a condition in which your heart muscles take a longer time to recharge between a heartbeat) in some cases. Hence, this medicine is not recommended for use in combination with other medicines that may also cause QT prolongation such as Cisapride, Primozide, Quinidine, etc., as it may further worsen your condition.

Neurological toxicity
Zocon T Kit Tablet may cause neurological effects like seizures (abnormal and uncontrolled electrical activity in the brain causing uncontrolled jerking of the body) and peripheral neuropathy (damage to the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord, causing weakness, numbness, and pain, usually in the hands and feet). It may also cause incoordination, lack of muscle control, a sensation of feeling off-balance, confusion, etc. Hence, this medicine should be used with caution if you have seizures or other nervous system abnormalities.
Blood dyscrasias
Blood Dyscrasias refers to abnormal conditions or disorders of the blood. Rarely, Zocon T Kit Tablet may cause a decrease in red blood cells, disease-fighting cells, and blood clot-forming cells in your blood. Hence this medicine should be used with caution if you have blood dyscrasias as it may worsen your condition.
Missed Dose
Take the missed dose of Zocon T Kit Tablet as soon as you remember it. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
