Description
Zocon KZ Shampoo is an antifungal medicine that contains Ketoconazole and Zinc Pyrithione. It is used in the treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis (a condition that causes red, dry, flaky, itchy skin on the scalp). Zocon KZ Shampoo works by weakening the cell membrane (protective covering) of the fungi. Thus, it treats the infection by killing the fungi and preventing the further spread of infection.
Zocon KZ Shampoo has some minor side effects like skin redness, dryness, or burning sensation at the site of application. Before you start using it, perform a patch test by applying it to a small area on your skin to know how your skin will react to this medicine. Discontinue the use and consult your doctor if you experience severe burning, itching of the skin, rashes, etc.
Zocon KZ Shampoo should be used as prescribed by your doctor. It is recommended for external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, mouth, or open wounds. Wash thoroughly with water in case of accidental contact.
