Description

Zerotuss Syrup is a cough suspension that contains levocloperastine. It is used for the treatment of a dry cough. The medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 2 years of age. It dissolves the thick mucus formed in the air passages making it easier for you to cough it out. It suppresses the cough by blocking the activity of cough centres in your brain. Zerotuss Syrup has some side effects like tiredness, dizziness, nausea, dryness in the mouth and severe thirst. Use Zerotuss Syrup only if prescribed by your physician. Avoid driving or any other activity that requires concentration as it may make you sleepy and dizzy. Zerotuss Syrup should be used as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the entire treatment course even if symptoms subside for the best results. If your cough does not get better with Zerotuss Syrup even after 1 week of treatment or you develop a fever, rash and headache, consult your doctor immediately. Zerotuss Syrup is not recommended for use if you have diabetes, heart disease and kidney or liver diseases as it can worsen your condition. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
