Zeecold Tablet is a combination of Paracetamol, Caffeine and Chlorpheniramine Maleate. It is used to treat symptoms of allergy and common cold such as runny nose, fever, sneezing, cough, itchy and watery eyes, headache, fever, etc. This medicine works by blocking the action of certain chemicals (prostaglandins and histamine) and provides relief from common cold symptoms, pain, and fever. Zeecold Tablet shows side effects like nausea, vomiting, sleepiness, restlessness etc. Most of these are temporary and get resolved with time. Consult your doctor if these side effects bother you. Avoid performing any activity that requires mental focus like driving or operating machines as this medicine can make you sleepy. Zeecold Tablet can be taken with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the whole course to see maximum benefits. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms may reappear. Take this medicine around the same time every day so that a constant level of medicine can be maintained in your body. Zeecold Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. What is it prescribed for?

Common Cold

The symptoms include sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, headache, and fever. Zeecold Tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of common cold.

Allergic Rhinitis

Allergic rhinitis is swelling of the inside of your nose due to unwanted foreign particles such as pollen dust, molds etc. The symptoms of allergic rhinitis include sneezing, runny nose, red, watery, and itchy eyes, etc. Zeecold Tablet is used in relieving the symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

5-HIAA Urine Test

Zeecold Tablet can interfere with the urine test and may give a false test result. Inform your doctor and/or lab technician about all your current medications before undergoing any lab test.

How it works

Zeecold Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Caffeine, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain killer) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of prostaglandins that are responsible for pain and fever.
