Description

Watnil Solution is a combination of Lactic Acid and Salicylic Acid. This medicine softens and loosens the dry, scaly, or thickened skin, which causes shedding of the outer layer of the skin. Watnil Solution is used in the treatment of warts (small raised bumps on the surface of your skin) and corns and calluses (thick, hardened layers of skin). Watnil Solution may rarely cause irritation, burning/tingling sensation of your skin at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Watnil Solution should be applied externally to the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using this medicine for the prescribed duration to effectively treat your condition. Do not apply Watnil Solution to your face, armpits, breasts, genital area or the healthy skin surrounding the affected area as this medicine may cause severe skin irritation. Watnil Solution should be avoided if you are allergic to it. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Corns and calluses

Corns and calluses are thick, hardened layers of skin that develop due to repeated friction or pressure. They usually occur on your feet and toes or hands and fingers. Corns are smaller than calluses and have a hard centre that is surrounded by inflamed (swollen) skin. Calluses may be of different sizes and shapes and are often larger than corns.
