Description
Tyrodin Cream is a combination medicine containing Tranexamic acid, Kojic acid, Arbutin and soluble forms of vitamin C and E. It is used for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe melasma (a condition where dark, discoloured patches appear on the skin) of the face. This medicine acts by brightening the skin and decreasing the action of chemicals that cause patches, swelling and irritation of the skin.
Tyrodin Cream rarely shows some side effects. However, you may experience burning, irritation, itching, or redness at the site of application. It may also cause skin discolouration at the application site. These side effects are self-limiting. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen, consult your doctor at the earliest. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it.
Tyrodin Cream should be used as prescribed by your doctor. It is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Apply a thin layer of this medicine over the affected parts of your skin. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose and mouth. Rinse with water immediately in case of accidental contact with these areas.
