Triumeq Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections in adult and adolescent patients weighing more than 40 kg. Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients receiving dofetilide as it may increase the undesired effects of dofetilide which may lead to potentially serious and life-threatening side effects.

HLA-B*5701-positive patients

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients who have screened positive for human leukocyte antigen HLA-B*5701 due to the increased risk of severe hypersensitivity reactions.

Moderate to Severe Hepatic Impairment

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with moderate to severe liver impairment since it may worsen the patient's condition.

Kidney impairment

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a creatinine clearance of less than 50 ml/min.

Immune reconstitution syndrome

Hypersensitivity reactions

Lactic acidosis

This medicine may cause fat gain or fat loss from the body. This may result in peripheral wasting, facial wasting, breast enlargement, and Cushingoid appearance. Diabetes

This medicine may alter blood glucose levels and may also increase the risk of new-onset diabetes mellitus. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels is necessary while receiving this medicine.
