Description

Tresmox LB D Capsule is an antibiotic combination of Amoxycillin and Dicloxacillin. It also contains lactic acid bacillus. This medicine is used to treat bacterial infections of your lungs, throat, ear, skin, heart, urinary tract and bone. Tresmox LB D Capsule is not recommended for treating viral infections because it is not effective in treating these infections. This medicine works by killing the bacteria by damaging its protective covering (cell wall) and also reduces the risk of diarrhoea due to antibiotics. Tresmox LB D Capsule has some common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and headache. Make sure you drink plenty of water if you develop diarrhoea as a side effect. Stop this medicine and immediately report to your doctor in case you develop an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties. Tresmox LB D Capsule can be given with food to avoid an upset stomach. It is advisable to complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between. Doing so may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. Tresmox LB D Capsule reduces the effect of oral contraceptives. Therefore, consider another method of contraception by consulting your doctor to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Tresmox LB D Capsule is advisable for use after sharing your entire medical and medication history with your doctor. This information is critical as it will help your doctor to plan your overall treatment.
