Thrombophob Ointment is a combination of Benzyl Nicotinate and Heparin. It helps prevent the formation of blood clots in the vein just below the skin. It also helps to reduce pain and swelling associated with such conditions.

Superficial thrombophlebitis is the swelling of the veins just below the surface of the skin due to blood clots. This condition can occur due to an injury or surgery, an inherited condition that may increase the risk of blood clots, or when unable to move for a long time. It is commonly seen on the legs, but it can occasionally occur in the arms and neck. Thrombophob Ointment is to treat superficial thrombophlebitis.
Superficial Bruises
Bruises are discolouration of the skin due to skin injury. During a skin injury, small blood vessels called capillaries near the skin's surface burst. This traps blood below the skin’s surface resulting in a black and blue mark on the skin. Thrombophob Ointment is used to heal bruises and prevent clotting of blood due to an injury.
