Description

Texakind 500 MG Injection is an anti-fibrinolytic medicine (a medicine used for clotting of blood) containing Tranexamic acid. It is used in the treatment of uncontrollable bleeding conditions that are seen after tooth extraction, in menstruation, haemorrhage (the release of blood from a broken blood vessel), angioedema (painless swelling under the skin), etc. Texakind 500 MG Injection works by slowing the blood clotting and this action prevents loss of blood. It is one of the safest medicines that are used to control bleeding. Texakind 500 MG Injection may cause side effects such as pain in the chest, cough, shortness of breath, swelling of limbs, fatigue, pain at the site of injection, etc. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Texakind 500 MG Injection. Avoid driving vehicles or doing activities that require your concentration after taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Texakind 500 MG Injection should be administered into your vein by a health care professional in a hospital. Do not self administer. The dose will be determined by your doctor based on your health condition and other underlying problems. Texakind 500 MG Injection is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age. Short-term management of hemorrhage

A haemorrhage is a condition in which blood vessels are damaged and clots are formed. As a result, blood flow decreases. At the same time, blood loss or internal bleeding is high. Texakind 500 MG Injection is used to form stable clots which promote proper healing of blood vessels and reduce the risk of serious conditions.

Menorrhagia

Menorrhagia is a condition of prolonged and heavy menstrual bleeding. Texakind 500 MG Injection is widely used to control blood loss in this condition.

Preventing blood loss during surgeries

Texakind 500 MG Injection is used to prevent or control blood loss after surgeries such as adenoidectomy (a procedure used to remove adenoids, a patch of tissue present up in the throat and just behind the nose), tonsillectomy (a surgical procedure used to remove tonsils in the throat), dental extractions (procedures used to remove the teeth), gynaecological surgery, thoracic and abdominal surgery.

Obstructive blood clotting disorder

Texakind 500 MG Injection is not recommended for use if you have clotting disorders of the heart and blood vessels as may lead to serious side effects. The clots may also move from the place of origin and lodge in other locations.
