It is used for treating a range of bacterial infections occurring in different areas of the body such as lungs, eyes, reproductive organs, skin, urinary tract, etc. Terramycin 50 MG Injection may also be used to treat sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea. This medicine works by preventing the growth of bacteria.
Terramycin 50 MG Injection is the treatment of choice for people who do not respond to or are allergic to penicillin antibiotic. This medicine is given as an injection by a healthcare professional. Do not skip any dose and make sure you complete the entire course of treatment. Stopping the treatment early can make bacteria resistant to the antibiotic. This may lead to returning or worsening of the disease.
Terramycin 50 MG Injection has some common side effects like diarrhoea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, and skin reaction on exposure to sunlight. Chlamydia Infection occurs most commonly in women. It is caused by the bacterium called Chlamydia trachomatis. It shows very little or no symptoms. However, there may be pain and discharge from the genitals. This infection mainly occurs due to less hygiene, unprotected or unsafe sex, etc. Terramycin 50 MG Injection is used in the treatment of this infection that is transmitted sexually in most individuals.
Brucellosis
Brucellosis is a bacterial infection that occurs in humans from animals infected with the Brucella bacteria. This mainly occurs in people who work near or pet animals such as sheep, pigs, cattle, goats, etc. After infection, you may experience fever, back pain, headache, and weakness. The infection is mostly spread through close contact with infected animals or consuming contaminated animal products (like raw meat and unpasteurized milk). Terramycin 50 MG Injection is used in the treatment of Brucellosis infection.
Bronchitis
