Description

Terbest 1% Cream is an antifungal medicine. It is used to treat fungal skin infections like athlete's foot (itchy, scaly, and white patches between the toes), jock itch (red, itchy, and ring-shaped rashes in the groin, the area where the upper thigh meets the lowest part of the stomach), ringworm (red, itchy, and circular-shaped rashes with clear skin in the middle affecting the skin, scalp, or nails), etc. This medicine works by killing the fungi by damaging its cell membrane (protective covering) and making it weaker. Thus, it prevents the spread of fungal infections. Terbest 1% Cream rarely shows side effects. However, you may experience irritation, burning sensation, itching, or redness at the site of application. These side effects are usually mild and subside with time. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen, consult your doctor. Terbest 1% Cream should be applied as directed by your doctor. Clean and pat dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer of this cream and spread uniformly over the affected area. Avoid direct contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Ensure that you complete the course of treatment with this medicine. If you stop using this medicine early, the infection may reappear or worsen, which may be difficult to treat. Terbest 1% Cream is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using any other topical medicines, or have any other skin conditions. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding before using this medicine.
